This workshop was part of a long journey that has included re-assessing my priorities, quitting my job to work for myself, therapy, practicing self-love, moving my body in ways unrelated to trying to look a certain way, and learning to not fight against life so much. I first saw the workshop during a period where I felt lightness, curiosity, and clarity were edging their way into my life but there was still something inside me that wasn't completely letting them in - whether it's the desire to be in control, harsh expectations of myself, or a general distrust in allowing myself to let go, I can't say. This workshop was a complete realisation of trusting myself, relinquishing control, and trusting the process. It's been part of a journey of learning and unlearning, trial and error, of growth and expansion. It gave me a glimpse into who I could be once all the layers of who I "should" be are stripped away - and I loved what I found. I know it's a lifelong journey, not a one-time event, and I feel immensely proud of myself for taking another step towards being able to navigate life from a space of calm and clarity.
